This tight lash solid roller camshaft is a race cam for 396ci and larger engine.  Perfect for drag or road racing, this cam needs 11.5:1 or higher compression.  This is a minimal maintenance cam with .010" valve lash and .607" valve lift numbers.  Designed for a wide power band and max power at high rpm, is not recommended for street use, Does produce a choppy idle.  This is a billet cam with a step nose for retainer plate for 87-94 SBC/LT1, and a cast iron distributor gear and is ground on a 112deg. lobe separation.  Custom lobe separation angles are available upon request.  Please call to order.
