The problem with the factory location of the manifold air temp sensor on 85-92 TPI cars is that it is screwed into the aluminum intake plenum. The aluminum soaks up the engine heat and that in turn transfers heat to the sensor giving your computer inaccurate air temperature information. This kit allows you to relocate the sensor in the duct work upstream of the throttle body and away from the hot engine. Kit includes a new MAT sensor, rubber grommet, and a 36 long extension harness.
