This 5qt wet sump performance street pan has internal baffling that separates the air out of the oil before its return to the sump, and also has a built in scraper that catches the last of the oil whipping off the crank. The baffle in the sump keeps all the oil in place under heavy sustained braking so the pump will never run dry. The pan is for a 2pc rear seal type block with the dipstick tube on the passenger side of the block.
