This 233/240 split duration cam is a good choice for a large displacement LT or small block fitted with a MiniRam intake.  Its .538"/.545" lift numbers really benefit bigger heads and with the addition of 1.6 rockers on the intake, you can bump the lift to .568" for even more air flow. To start our line of LS cams, this ZL9 cam was designed to conform to the strict rules of Grand Am competition.  With a slight lope at idle, it is ground on a 110 degree lobe separation for great low end torque, and with 209/223 duration, it runs hard to 6800 rpm.  It is an excellent choice for 5.7L & 6.0L cars and trucks.  Drives like a stock cam.  The .568"/.584" lift numbers require springs.  40-50 hp over stock cam.
